I started my band Skating Polly with my sister Kelli back in 2009, and
these days we tour and write as a trio with our brother Kurtis. We’ve
played all over the world, from tiny DIY spaces to major festivals.
When I’m not on the road, I’m at home with my dog Georgie and my cat
Denny — usually going on walks, watching movies, or hiding from the
heat under the AC.
Much to Georgie and Denny’s dismay, I spend a lot of my downtime
designing and coding. Lately, I’ve been building interactive tools for
fans, diving deeper into web and game design.
Right now I’m working on a user profile system for my band’s website,
expanding my bird identification game (Bird Match), and building a
independent platformer game to go alongside my band's album, Chaos
County Line.
When I need a break from touring or coding, you’ll usually find me
gaming, birdwatching on a beautiful trail, or curled up with a book
and my pets. I love anything that pulls me into another world — real
or imagined.
At the core of all my work — whether I’m making music, designing
tools, or building weird little games — is a love for creativity and
connection.
